    On 5th of June 2019 Polish Institute became a venue of the round table seminar dedicated to the issue of violence.


    The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Rome. During the conference Polish and Italian experts, representatives of the ministries of justice, foreign affairs, and police, together with prosecutors, judges, NGO’s actively engaged in providing assistance to the victims of violence and hospital practitioners, exchanged experiences and best practices regarding procedures and assistance for victims of violence.


    The experts focused on similarities and differences between Polish and Italian regulations, law enforcement, practice of the institutions. The Italian guests listened with particular attention to the presentation of the so-called Blue Card and its practical application. The Prosecutor of Tivoli presented  the leaflet brochure for the victims of violence, which was handed in to the staff of the Embassy and will be translated into Polish and then distributed to the Poles in Italy. The EU Fundamental Rights Agency was informed about the seminar and provided its new publication on European law on the access to justice.
